The sound intensity testing system can collect the amplitude and direction information of sound energy in the sound field, and widely used in fields such as sound power measurement, sound absorption, sound transmission, noise source identification, and sound source localization, etc. 


The sound intensity measurement method uses two closely spaced microphones to simultaneously test sound pressure and particle velocity. To minimize the impact on the sound field, it is necessary to accurately define the acoustic distance between the two microphones of the sound intensity probe. To ensure the highest measurement accuracy, the most suitable distance between the microphones should be defined for specific testing conditions. When testing the low frequency range under strong reverberation conditions, the interval should be large, while when testing the high frequency range, the interval should be small.
